Privacy Policy

This policy explains what LensPrompts (“we”, “us”) collects when you use lensprompts.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, email support@lensprompts.com.
1. What we collect
When you just browse. You can browse and copy prompts without an account. We don’t use advertising or third-party analytics trackers. When you copy a prompt we add one to that prompt’s public copy counter; the counter is not linked to you.
When you sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, plus a Google account identifier. We never see your Google password.
When you generate images. We store the prompts you write, the settings you choose and the images you generate, so they appear under “My creations”.
When you buy credits or a plan. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Dodo collects your card details and billing address; we never see or store your full card number. We receive a customer ID, the product you bought, the amount, and the status of your subscription.
Likes. When you like a prompt we remember it so it appears in your Favorites.
Technical data. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses, browser type and request logs to deliver the site, prevent abuse and fix errors.
2. How we use it
- To run your account and keep you signed in.
- To generate images you ask for and show you your history.
- To process payments, add credits, manage subscriptions and handle refunds.
- To answer support requests and send essential service messages (for example about a payment).
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use your prompts or images to train AI models.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that help us run LensPrompts, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing that service:
- Hosting and storage providers — run the website, database and file storage.
- Google — sign-in.
- Dodo Payments — payments, tax and billing (merchant of record).
- AI model providers — your prompt and any reference images are sent to the provider that runs the model you select, only to generate your image.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our users and service.
4. Your images and visibility
Generated images are stored at unguessable web addresses so they can be shown to you. Anyone you share such an address with can open it. We don’t publish your creations in the public prompt library.
5. Cookies and local storage
We only use what the site needs to work:
- a session cookie that keeps you signed in;
- your light/dark theme choice and the number of columns that fit your screen;
- an unsent draft on the Create page, kept in your browser for the current tab.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account data, creations and likes until you delete your account. Payment and transaction records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require, even after account deletion. Server logs are kept for a short period.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. To delete your account and creations, email support@lensprompts.com from the address you sign in with. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, they use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Children
LensPrompts is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the EU/UK), and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We’ll update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site or by email. See also our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
